Portugal Straw Bale Tiny House

RESULT: As part of a 10-week European professional certification program, Abraham joined a team to design and build a tiny house for a farm in Castro Marim, Portugal.
The 20 square meter studio apartment contained full amenities for residing on the farm for either fieldhands and/or BnB.

DESIGN DETAILS: With a shaded wood patio/terrace, full amenity kitchenette, and bathroom, this tiny house studio is fully insulated with straw for a very comfortable, year-round accomodation with a cozy vibe and romantic setting. Using lime and clay plasters and metal roofing to protect the straw, this building meets the international building code standards for straw construction.
